Black Friday & Weekend is OVER!!

When the word black friday is presented to you, what comes to mind? Lots of savings on items you've had your eye on for a long time, large groups of shoppers waiting outside of wal-mart with nothing to lose(xcept their minds), buy one get one free deals, $200 flat screen tv's, X-box/PS3 games for only $20, Toasters for $4, or even the new j's that came out.
......With YOUR happiness given credit to....
...Lets think about the REATIL WORKERS POINT OF VIEW(people like myself)....
Crowds of over anxious shoppers fighting their way to the front of the line, Angry black people getting mad because you don't have what they are looking for, Consistent stupid questions being asked such as "Ya'll aint got nothing else on sale" or "This all yall got"(Shudda went sumwhur else lol), Bad ass kids who won't stop runnig round the store, parents who REFUSE to stop they're bad ass kids from running around crazy, Late hours in the store because some customer decided to come into the store 5 minutes before it close and STAY 15 minutes after the store is closed(happens more often than you think), People who are never satisfied no matter how much the savings is, Angery white people who look at you funny because u don't jump when they say it, or just the typical nigga ish that goes on lol. THE LIST COULD GO ON AND ON(but it won't kuz im tired of typing lol)

Reflection:
Many anticipate the arrival of black friday and the weekend that follows because it is a tradition of big crowds with savings just as big. Retail workers hate it for the very same reason lol...One thing can be agreeed upon, black friday and the weekend is OVER UNTIL NEXT NOVEMBER..Thank God lol...Next Year when you go out shopping for black friday, make sure you take into consideration the feelings of the POOR POOR worker at that businness...(seriously)

Ronnie Fieg X Polo Ralph Lauren Ranger "Cookie" Boot

Recently Ronnie Fieg from david Z have teamed up with ralph lauren to bring you on the best polo boot releases of the year. Yeah lately the ranger has been the real eye grabber but when you put the grey colorway on there its a must have. Right now there is no word on where and how much to get them for, I lil mike just know they were released yesterday on black friday. This will be one of the greater additions to anyones boot collection all sizes will be available. SO THE HUNT IS ON!!

Black Friday and Weekend Deals in the STL!

As you all know, we reside in Saint Louis, so we would like to give you all any helpful information on sales that we know of that are pretty good. Im sure almost every store is having a sale right now, but these are just the stores that we deem important enough to list:


SOKA SKATE STORE is a skateboard(SB) store exclusive to only Saint Louis. There is a location on manchester(about 7 mins from West County Mall) and one on Mexico Rd off of highway 70(about 5 mins down from Mid Rivers Mall Exit). Anyways, Right now they have a WEEKEND DEAL where if you spend $100 you will receive a $20 gift card that is valid 12/26/09-1/31/09. So if you're into SB nikes, Skateboards, Snowboards, or Skater clothing then hit up soka and take advantage of the deal.


URBAN OUTFITTERS is located in the Galleria. For the weekend they are having a storewide 50% off sale. This means EVERYTHING in the store is 50% off, not an item excluded. So if you typically shop at urban outfitters or the clothes they carry is considered your style, then you might want to go check it out before all the good
stuff is gone!


PRIME SOLE has 1 location in Saint Louis, which is on West Florissant and New Halls Ferry. They always have good prices and the black friday shopping weekend is no different. They have tons of great deals on shoes that you won't find anywhere else, so I suggest u check it out for yourself!


FINISHLINE has an additional 30% off all shoes in the store with a red dot and some of the items arent actually that bad. In addition, there is also a 30% off deal on all women's boots and select styles in men's boots. College Hoodies are 2 for $40 and the cardinal hoodies are regulary priced at $50 but are on sale for 30.


In addition to the few stores above, you should check out Harol Penar Man of Fashion, Footlocker, Champs, journeys, underground station, and all of the retail stores that you usually visit. Also, to you shoe fans, SKIPTOMYSHOE.COM has a sale on their site where everything is elgible for 20% off, so you might wanna check that out also....

As you all know, the LegendaryStatus family is composed of sneaker heads. So here is a brief list of shoes that we are THANKFUL came/will come out in 2009.


The Air Jordan Retro III "True Blues" came back out this year for the first time since 2001. Although they did not come out in the U.S. we can be thankfull that they made their ways to the internet.(plus I got mines, so nothing else matters lol)



The "Flu Game" Retro 12s will make its way back on the shelves tommorow. Even though there are alot of changes dne to it, we cant help but to be thankful for their re-appearance.



The Retro 11 "Space Jam" is probably the most sought after jordan of all time. Appearing only once before as a release, this shoe will surely sell out on 12/23/09.



The Air Max Griffey 1 came back out in 2009 (Griffey's 20th year in the league) and made a big splash. Selling out nearly everywhere these were a good buy. Nike's way of honoring a great player was recognized.



The white/red retro XII's originally debuted in 1997 and will come out again 12/19/09. These are probably the most popular 12s that have ever been released and a shoe that we are really thankful for.(click on picture to see all of shoe)



The Retro 5 Raging Bull package made its way to shelves back in May. We are thankful for this release because it was the first package release since the Countdown Packs of 2008 and also because we missed the retro 5s. Thank you JB for putting out a package that was actually worth the cash in 2009.



AIR MAX 95s(The only shoe t-marc loves almost as much as retroes)came back out this year in "Freshwater" "Chili" "Team Orange" and "Mint". True Air Max fans were very excited for the release and were sparked by the 95 comeback. We(I atleast) was truelly THANKFUL!(Click on the picture to see all four shoes)


1/2 Cents rocked 2009 when they came out. Almost everyone wanted a pair, but with the retail price of $190 some people were scared off. High or not, 1/2 cents were definetely one of the BEST releases of 2009.

Air Jordan 60+: Detroit Pistons Edition

The next of the Jordan 60+ line to hit the streets is the detroit pistons colorway. This colorway will be released on December 5, 2009. Its another black sueded shoe, but this time with blue and red accents. These will be a general release and will be priced at the retail value of $150. YO! Wassup dis Lil mike man the newest member of legendary status i mean the shoe game will speak for itself you will see, but man its like a honor to be on here the name says it all lol. Aight so i been thinking about making my own blog and i kept puttin it off so i said eff it and join up wit my boys t-marc and chaz. Me and my boys got a STUPID shoe game and i will be looking forward to keep yall updated with some new post. I myself rock mostly nike sb'z because it was a time when jordan and these fusions(d.o.f. death of fusions lol) were messing up the world so i cant lie i was gone hang it up. I got a nice jordan collection though its building back up slowly but surely. I did shop a variety of shoes i been through em all the vans, supras, creative recs etc but that was just a phase. so fam just keep it tuned to the blog Daily and we gone keep the heat coming. :)
